Keagan Karnes is an award winning Director and Producer of narrative films and branded content.
Keagan produced Little Brother, a dramedy starring Daniel Diemer, Phillip Ettinger, and JK Simmons released in 2024 by Gravitas, and Sunlight written and directed by acclaimed comedian Nina Conti and Executive Produced by Christopher Guest.
Keagan has directed branded content for New Mexico Dept of Health, BeWell NM, Visit Las Cruces and visit Angel Fire. He wrote and directed the comedic short film Good Cop, which won Best First Time Filmmaker at the DC Shorts Film Festival, Audience Award at the SENE Film Festival, and Best Short Film at the Boston Comedy Film Festival. His short film Home Movies won several awards including Best Short Film at the Las Cruces International Film Festival. Keagan has also written and directed for the comedy series Enter The Dojo starring Matt Page and the mockumentary series about community theatre, Thank You, 5, currently streaming on Amazon Prime. Keagan owns and operates INSPIRADO, an award winning production company which has produced creative content for Meow Wolf, Paypal, Hyundai, and Facebook among others.
Keagan has also served as a professor at New Mexico State University’s Creative Media Institute and is currently a sitting member of The Governor’s Council on Film and Media.
Most recently, Keagan directed his debut feature film, Brewmance, a romantic comedy starring Alex Moffat, Kennedy McMann, Zoe Colleti and Steven Ogg.
