Stafford Douglas is a director and writer with Inspirado. Most recently he directed Nusenda Credit Union’s newest campaign for Northern New Mexico, and will be continuing his collaboration on an upcoming commercial for their expansion into El Paso. He also directed the Emmy-nominated travel show Free Spirit, which follows world renowned mixologist Kate Gerwin as she explores the cocktail culture of diverse cities across the country.  

Stafford is also an accomplished writer, with the ability to enhance other’s concepts or craft an idea from the ground up. He has written the scripts for a wide array of ad campaigns throughout New Mexico, as well as helmed the entire new slate of dramatized harassment videos for one of the world leaders in workplace compliance. Stafford also wrote the screenplay for Love on Tap, a new romantic comedy starring SNL alum Alex Moffat, which premiered as the headliner of the Las Cruces International Film Festival. 

Adding to his directorial abilities are his many years as an accomplished actor. He has guest starred on award-winning series like Criminal Minds, Better Call Saul and Dark Winds, as well as acted opposite legendary stars such as Jeff Goldblum, Tina Fey, Christian Bale, and Tom Hanks. Stafford is also a recurring cast member with Duke City Repertory Theater’s Bard Crawl, which sees a full-length Shakespeare play performed to packed breweries all across Albuquerque. 

A born-and-raised New Mexican, Stafford is proud to create in his hometown of Albuquerque. As a director, he harnesses his diverse background as a writer, actor and producer to ensure that every element- from initial concept all the way to finished product- is approached with the highest quality, craft, and care.
